Verso with the estate stamp and an adhesive label with the number "L 146", partly inscribed by hand and partly stamped, as well as an illegible hand-written inscription "L. 14.." in chalk. 33 x 41 cm (12.9 x 16.1 in).
Accompanied by a written confirmation issued by the Gabriele Münter- and Johannes Eichner-Foundation on 12 November 2015. The painting will be included into the catalog raisonné of Gabriele Münter's paintings with the title "Cemetery with fresh grave".

What is so fascinating about Münter is how she gets such a lovely mood from the motif of the Murnau cemetery with her strong and colorful palette, the bright red of the flowers, a green that is intensified by the blue, the path shimmering in rose and the bright blue mountain silhoutte.
